August 24, 2008 – 1:11 pmI’m up early, and I don’t feel sick. Though, I am paranoid that at some point I will start feeling sick again. So, I’m taking some ibuprofen anyway, just in case. We’ll see how I feel in the morning, but right now it’s looking pretty good.

I’m one of your listeners having picked up your podcast a couple of weeks ago.
I was looking through your photos today for the first time and I saw a picture of you with a girl in glasses. She looks like a friend of mine (almost carbon copy) and I had no idea she was in Japan. I could be wrong, but I wanted to see if the world is really as small as they say
Is her name Rebbecca?
Anyway, love the podcast and I’m glad you’re feeling better. I listen to your podcast for nostalgic reasons. I lived in Japan for a year, tried to learn Japanese while my gf was on scholarship in Kyoto. It’s always nice to hear about other people’s perspectives on Japan.

Thanks for the commenting, and I’m glad you took a look at my photos. Unfortunately, the world, in this case, doesn’t seem to be quite that small. That girl’s name is not Rebecca, and she was only in Japan visiting me for about a week. There’s a lot of pictures of me with her(some not posted yet), because I took a lot of pictures while she was here.

Lol. Thanks for replying. I was actually shocked to hear it wasn’t her (that’s how much she looked like my friend Rebbecca)…and now know that I found her clone/long lost twin
